WinterFest at the Fairgrounds
Second Saturday in February
The Guilford Recreation Commission invites you to join us for WinterFest at the Fairgrounds!
This event is FREE and open to all community members!
The event will be kicked off with a Guided Snowshoe led by the Guilford Conservation Commission. Bring your own snowshoes if you have them. The GCC will have on hand several adult and children’s snowshoes and poles on loan from the Guilford Library.
Bring your Nordic skis for an all ages and abilities Nordic Ski Race at the Fairgrounds. Short loop race and a longer loop race will be held. Beat your best time around the loop during individual timed trials. Everyone who participates is a winner and will receive a ribbon.
Guilford’s Homeschooling group will be leading the snow sculpture artistry and the sledding fun! Bring a shovel and your snow sculpting tools to create a fabulous snow sculpture.
Bring your sled for sliding down the snowy hills.
The local Cub Scout Pack 447 will be teaching fire safety and helping kids make s’mores by the campfire.
We hope you will come out and enjoy Winterfest at the Fairgrounds with your friends and neighbors!
